Over 1,000 Louisiana businesses permitted to sell CBD products. BATON ROUGE, La. Governor John Bel Edwards signed a bill into law Sunday, June 6 allowing hemp -derived CBD products with a THC concentration of less than 0.3 percent to be legally sold in the state. On Monday, June 24 ATC issued its first permits.
CBD products in Nevada are available for purchase over-the-counter and without a prescription. CBD is extracted from industrial hemp and because all hemp products have been made available, CBD is legal in Nevada. Industrial hemp is a variety of the Cannabis Sativa L. plant species.
Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, Montana residents can purchase CBD online or at several retail locations. CBD oil is federally legally so long as it contains less than 0.3% THC, as mandated by the 2018 Farm Bill. It may not be legal at a state, county, or local level.
The new law clarifies that hemp -derived CBD is legal to possess and sell in Oklahoma. The bill reads in part: Under current law, CBD is only technically legal through the state's medical marijuana program.
